i wonder in no more

i take what’s in store

and greet them at the door.

My world is at peace

I love you just the least

The past has been released

yes I’ve taken back 

the room we’ve shared for years

the picture we bought 

is back to bring me cheer

All memories put to bed

Just a layer that I shed

My perspective is much clearer

In my little child’s face

As they are set for the race
